La polyrythmie des cachalots
Presentation
The binaural sound installation Polyrythmie des cachalots immerses us in the possibility of a sophisticated language of sperm whales. The clicking sounds they make would be only the perceptible parts of complex polyrhythms exchanged and built together, whose hidden orchestration reveals a particularly complex sound architecture. At the crossroad of marine biology, bio-acoustics and sound art, a proposal for animal conversation by artist Antoine Bertin.
